I dont mind seeing the same faces as long as they deserve to get in and Sonya is one of them. What burns me up is when they go outside of NYC to invite eaters that dont deserve to be there and bypass Seiken just to piss him off. Childish nonsense. Seiken do what you gotta do on July 4th and support Koby on the rooftop

Last time Sonya competed at Arties at New York in 2007 she threw up most of the turkey

Anony: She burped up one bite and put it back in. But being the honest person she is, she DQed herself. Get your facts straight. But eating turkey is rough it ought to be interesting. A lot of meat tearing and handspeed. She did well at turdunkin, I’m looking forward to seeing what she can do.

Yeah it seems odd that she would accept an invitation after that experience.

If no other top five eaters show this would be a great opportunity for Seiken to win over a heavyweight.

Yeah Tom aka we know who, she choked on a bone and was DQ by Hardy after reviewing the situation. If you watch the video her back was facing the crowd because she was embarassed . I doubt anyone would DQ themself.

Brian Seiken is an even bigger man on the inside than he is outside. Sure, he could receive an invitation to this contest, which he could easily win if he wanted to, but being the humble, giving person he is, he will likely stay out of the event so a lesser eater can win. He has done this so many times in his career and has chosen to win only once, and wouldn’t you know it, he paced himself to make it seem as though he barely won. Just to think of the graciousness of this man makes tears well up in my eyes. I, I, I have to go now … Brian is the best!

Maybe Seiken will crash the event and show everybody up and win it. I wonder who else will show.

MLE really has balls to post on the facebook page that you can RSVP them if you want to watch conti and booker hand out turkeys to the homeless and watch them compete on tues. What about sending some invites for other eaters to compete or handing out a turkey or two to an unemployed competitive eater?

Yes a complete boycott of anything related to turkeys is needed. How insulting to the sport of CE not to have the worlds biggest ham (seken) taking part in this event. He should at least be able to stalk the real competitive eaters at this event for a interview.

I really would like to see Brian Seiken . interview participants. Maybe he can wait outside and grab eaters as they leave the premisis.

seiken is not desperate to interview eaters unlike some others that need attention drawn to their free blog that nobody ever visits

Still no word as to whether inflatedly ranked Shredder Goldstein was invited. . I guess you need to do only one contest per year to qualify.

Thanksgiving is supposed to be a holiday for everyone to rejoice in. It seems that the Turkey contest in NYC is all about greed and favortism. Dispersing 10 lb turkeys to 4 or 5 individuals in the IFOCE instead of all 50 is an unjust and unfair way to treat our US citizens
