Some sad news from Stephanie Wu: she has discovered that her throat issues were symptoms of thyroid cancer and has terminated her restaurant challenge tour to focus on her health. Ed "Cookie" Jarvis was diagnosed with thryoid cancer in 2010 which was removed by surgery.

She is lucky she wasn’t diagnosed with deadlier cancers considering her weight and physical condition . She will be just fine

Who knew that doing restaurant challenges every single day & eating tons of food could be bad for you? WHAT A SHOCKER!!!

you people jump the gun as soon as you hear word cancer without knowing anything about the disease. It says she has symptoms which doesnt necessarily mean she is diagnosed with it

it is obvious she indulges in everyday food challenges because she has underlying issues. Same can be applied to Kate Leah Nel and the rest of them

@9:09 you should look at Raina, Randy and the ones who do this everyday. Not just girls also.

Get better Stephanie. For all of those above who, in their hatred of themselves (only explanation), write dreadful comments,
think about Stephanie reading them. She is ill and seeking to let others know. This is a community, and why slam people when they are already down? I just cannot believe there are so many ill-intentioned people.

not sure if thyroid cancer and overeating are linked. Stomach cancer and colon cancer without question are linked. If you want to do eating challenges do it once in while . If you do it on a regular basis you are asking for trouble . Not healthy and not worth the chump change they throw your way

Who wants unsolicited medical advice from this beacon of healthy living? I’m sure this was Goldsteins fault somehow too

Goldstein
A/ why do you keep posting on this site if you are done with CE
B. Why the sexual fixation with Seiken and how do you know he left medical advice?

Seiken, you will not get what you want…….a response from AG. I do not think he posts here at all though he may read. And you will never ever get a REAL trophy from Nathans. Why can’t you find something more creative and constructive to do? Just do not understand.

Wu was a good kid a friendly kid but lets call a spade a spade she certainly wasnt the picture of health

Cannot verify, but her passing has not been verified either. She had health issues, and is obviously done with the lifestyle if still ticking, but a lot of people who followed and visited with her would like to at least learn that she made it. Heck, I could simply post “I am Stephanie Wu” anonymously, lol, so we really should not be taking any of this overly seriously. I do believe my “source” though.
Maybe I’ll have a “I am Stephanie Wu” shirt done up for a contest someday.

I can understand if she decided to put these eating contests and challenges behind her but her Facebook page was not taken down and she hasn’t posted in 6yrs which leads one to believe that something is not right Many have tried in vain to contact her just to ask how she’s doing but she won’t respond A. simple response like I’m doing fine would put everyone mind at ease It would make more sense to delete the page altogether

I think Stephanie Wu’s twitter made a like in 2022 or 23 when all likes were visible to the public.

OJ I’m sure you know the Aaron Osthoff story sad and he didn’t die by natural causes

It is bizarre that their was no followup to the murder attempt by Aaron Osthoff. All I could find was a post about a 2022 basketball tournament to benefit the woman he shot, Megan Breuer. She lived, but was paralyzed from the waist down.

Aaron was not only a good eater but one of the nicest person on this planet I don’t know what set him off to do something as horrific as that His daughter committed suicide prior to the incident His wife is one other kindest and prettiest souls you ever want to meet She ended up remarrying and is living a happy life

This site used to be hoppin 15yrs ago Now the comments are about as dead as a doornail What you are left with is a few random insults regarding current names like Eli Kyle etc whoever the hell they are boring boring boring

12:21 – yep boring comments from scared anonymous trolls who are overly concerned with the actions of others, yet they will be the first ones to call someone else ‘pathetic’. or most recently way too concerned with things that occurred 20+ years ago. whats wild is that if a positive post is made about an eater how upset the trolls get.

Actually the comments concerning events that occured 20yrs are kind of hunorous There was a time when the old school eaters used to post under their real names but the insults started getting personal so they ended up posting as anonymous or just stop posting altogether
