    You’re on drugs, btw. Wells did 22 last year. Unless he got worse, look for him to at least repeat.

    Who’s Damon Wells? And who cares if he repeats 22, Matt Stonie is gonna hand him and Ross their asses on a Nathan’s plate. Stonie can even give them a 2 or 3 min head start

    I have to agree with my impostor, I think Matt’s good for 30+, maybe high twenties due to his distaste for hot dogs.

    Id betting on high 20’s on sunday, and that guess is due to recent past trial #’s…
    Hopefully i can get over the taste due to the excitement of the event, cuz otherwise, im pretty stuck right now…

    Stonie, my young grasshopper, look at what other eaters do, Pat B. uses a red drink mix (fruit punch or cherry something like that) , that makes stuff taste sweet, try that maybe with one or 2 dogs and see if you like that better.

    Also Newsflash, some people like Hot Dogs better then others, some people hate them more then others. Talking to some of the guys competing this weekend, some said they havnt had a Dog in so long they’re actually craving them… so there…

    Someone once said, “the first one tastes just like the last one”. Looking at past results it really looks like hot dogs are a food where one gets better with experience. I am not saying that people go from 10 to 30… but you do see that folks do better over time. The skin and the fact that the dogs are recooked can get tiresome on the jaws late in the contest, really slowing folks down. Ask yourself why guys that can eat 8 lbs of other food in 10 minutes can usually do 3 or 4 lbs of nathans hdb’s? I don’t know the answer but only a few eaters handle the same amount of dogs as other foods in these 10 minute contests.
