TimeOutNY reports that Joey Chestnut, Pat Bertoletti and Tim Janus are expected to attend Monday’s corned beef sandwich eating contest. HumbleBob.com announces that he will also attend and Sonya Thomas’ home page reports that Badlands Booker will compete.

    How about having some REAL eaters in this contest like: Joel “The Cannon” Podelsky or competitive eating legend & personality Dave “Coondog” O’Karma & his partner Arnie “Chowhound.

    I know it will never happen, but it would be great for the world to finally see this showdown between Joey and Joel. Thats what the people want.

    I was 100% serious when I said this. If a regular dope like US Male (no offense) can beat 4 of the top 10 of the IFOCE even DOUBLE and QUADRUPIPLE them, then they really cant be all that great. I’ll bet if you put up a solid top AICE eater like Joel “The Cannon” Podelsky in a food that is not drinkable/dunkable like wings, he would likely beat half of the IFOCE top 10 too, like US Male, hell he might even BEAT US Male. AICE eaters are better at this kind of food.

    I would hardly say the AICE eaters are better than IFOCE eaters at the nondrinkable kinds of food. You don’t “drink” grits, oysters, wings, lobster, gyoza, asparagus, jalapenos, ribs, crab cakes, okra, burritos, or cheesecake (to name a few). Yet, look at the performances of many of the top IFOCE eaters in those more “honest” foods.

    However, you AICE guys have some very good eaters who would hold their own in many foods. Just look at Pete, Ian (though he’s retired), Goose, and Elizabeth, just to name a few. They’re all top tier.

    I’m glad you werent offended. You know what I mean right? You’re just a normal idiot slob and no super star, yet you were able to pull off what we have all been told is impossible. But the reality is that it ISNT impossible, and you proved that. The reality is that the top 10 IFOCE are just GOOD eaters that learned a few tricks with certain foods to make it appear like they are local gods.

    Clearly this picnic style food will never be contested again because of how embarrassing it is to have your best eaters lapped by some everyday dork. I have tremendous respect for you, US Male. You are the peoples champ now and belong with the other Picnic style greats in AICE. I’ll bet you could keep up with some of our eaters in everything from wings to strawberries. You’d probably lose alot at first, but you’d gain ground quickly once you got used to not dunking. Congrats.

    It’s obvious you have some insight into CE and might have even been a low level AICE eater at one time. But Joel “The Cannon” Podelsky? Sure an eater of his caliber could beat the likes of USmail on a daily basis, but you are not comparing apples to apple, you are comparing Nathans to Bar-S. I think when you as an AICE eater realizes the hollow nature of a tarnished crawfish win, you would recognize my analogy and not give his win the weight you are…

    I’m not sure why anyone is singing the praises of Joel, I watched him get beat a while back at some crappy little contest, I think it was hot dogs but it might have been wings or something, and it was by some fat slob who looked like he was eating in slow motion.

Maybe I will or will not win another contest, but I will give it my best. It was my rookie year so I hope to get better with more experience.

    Joel “The Cannon” Podelsky – Give yourself some credit, these IFOCE guys have been pulling the wool over our eyes and constantly yelling us how much better they are than us. I know that US Male is peeved at me, but he doesnt realize that he proved how fake IFOCE is. If a bum like him can beat the black widow and then they try to tell us that the black widow can eat 40 hot dogs? No Way!! All of us AICE guys should compete this year so we can show them what real numbers are!

    US Male – You proved that the top 10 of the IFOCE are a fraud, and thats why I will always love you. I predict they will kick you out for embarrassing them and then you can come eat with us. Seriously, you’re not just any old schmuck and you could be good once you stopped cheating. Hell if I showed up at that contest I would be Crawfish Champion Today, I already know I’m better than you, thusly better than half to 3/4 of the top 10.

    AICE of Spades I must admit your wrong on this won. TBW could eat 35 HDBs at noon and then swing by and royally kick your ass at Peggy’s that same afternoon. You would not even finish in the top five in crawfish if there were five ifoce eaters there, nor would you come close to the male man. Give it a rest.     Please enlighten me how I cheat “AICE.” I am sorry I cannot show you the same love back since you hide your identity and I am not peeved at you. Your comments make me laugh and provide this sight some good entertainment.

    I did not embarass the IFOCE or the top eaters. Do you not underatand that technical foods such as crawfish and corn allow for the lower ranked eater to step up and win. It has nothing to do with capacity. I am not going to eat 40 hot dogs and beat Sonya, but that is OK. I will try. As an AICE eater, you surely understand (or maybe not).

    Meanwhile I will hang out awaiting my walking papers from the IFOCE. I am sure they are so ashamed. I hope Sykobozo pulls a big upset this year so he can feel the same shame as me.

    In all honesty I HATE dunking, and I wish all contests went with picnic style, natural eating (or whatever you want to call it) rules. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that the many eaters in the IFOCE are world class. (The AICE has a few of that caliber also.)

    It’s very counterproductive for eaters in any organization to sit back and wait in ambush for one or more of the titans of MLE or APE to be upset by a lower-ranked or up-and-coming eater —- which happens once in a blue moon! That’s what you do out of spite or jealousy or both.

    I would love —- I’d pay —- to see eaters in both organizations square off against one another, as long as it caused no hard feelings among the eaters.

    So AICE of Spades, speak for yourself —- not Joel or anyone else in your own organization. They’re realists and good people. Why don’t you jump on that bandwagon? Otherwise, you’re committing gustatory suicide and your own “spade” will be used to bury you, figuratively and competitively.

    In other words … just get off that bullshit. Okay? Chill out! Life’s too short and there are better things to do with one’s time.

    I have much respect for the IFOCE eaters but i needed to make a point. Sure Sonya could have a bad day and get beaten by a nobody. If that were the case I would know enough not to speak up. BUT this particular Nobody beat Eater X, Sonya, Humble Bob, Juliet & Crazy Legs all at once. Did all five eaters just have a bad day? Unlikely. Did US Male cheat? Dunno. Did US Male outeat them? Probably.

    So how does an overinflated mailman just show up and beat 5 of the “best eaters in the world”? Maybe they just arent that good at non-dunking contests?

    AICE of Spades, I understand and I believe you. Sonya didn’t have a bad day. Did you see her total—-over 4 lbs, and that’s in a technique food.

    I think anyone who can eat close to 3 lbs or over in that particular food did an amazing job, but US Male found his niche.

    Frankly, I thought the winner would eat only 3 lbs. I was shocked by the totals of the top three. Badlands did especially great, considering his larger fingers. Man, they must be nimble!

    Exposed………..now really. How in the world would eatfeats benefit Ryan Nerz personally? or anyone at the IFOCE for that matter? Eatfeats provides something not available anywhere else, something which many people really like no matter what their perspective or prejudices or interest or participation in competitive eating. OJRifkin may be The Great Oz of competitive eating, but imagine if eatfeats suddenly “disappeared” and the disappointment which would follow. Personally, I hope that is exactly what happens eventually, that is when OJRifkin decides to end eatfeats, whether it is in a few months or years or decades. Everyone who posts on this site owes him, especially those who trash him or her as they are simply full of nonsense. Everyone who says they know the author or authors or could easily expose said person or persons is full of hot balloons. If they did, they would have told all at the first opportunity. Clever OJRifkin. May he long reign.

No matter who it is, all eaters should be grateful that someone takes the time to post stories & videos that may otherwise never be seen by most. Who cares if it is a person unknown!
