    I’d sure like to see him go up against some bonafide competitors, like the IFOCE top 3 or even Sonya. I think she would more than hold her own against Pete.

    Dont think anyone will see Pete go up against any Ifoce. Its not his fault, he tried many times to. They won’t let him compete. Why, who knows. All the top eaters in the world hang around the same numbers and amounts. There is no doubt that Pete is right up there with them all. Its just a shame that he is being prohibited from showing the truth there.

    I think the real reason why Pete has and will never be on the MLE stage is because of all his extra curricular activities. He does what he wants and that’s not okay with the Shea’s. So it basically comes down to Pete not wanting to follow the MLE rules and the control the Shea’s may have over him.

    Not to mention he’s only lost one event ever and I can see him not taking losing very well, why be just another fish in the sea when you can be the biggest fish in a small pond (like Anon 1:06 said… “Pete is great in his own right.”)?

    I see Pete in the same field as maybe Hall Hunt (who is a very good eater), but not on the same level as Joey or Pat.

    He cant eat hot dogs at a competitive level with top eaters of MLE . That is the bottom line or else he would have his hot dog practices all over youtube .

    I propose that Furious Pete and Ben Monson go form their own league with Beautiful Brian. BB can annoy everybody, Monson can talk in his fake Shakespearian dialect and confuse everybody and Pete can Eat for the Win, and get them on German TV.
