The Houston Chronicle has an article about David “SykoBOZO” Cagle’s preparation for the May 17 gyro eating contest. Pat Bertoletti, Tim Janus, Bob Shoudt and Erik Denmark are listed as other expected entrants. The contest is negotiating with Joey Chestnut to have him compete.

    “I’m hoping that will throw off some of the other contestants”,I dont remember saying that,everything else yes,i just dont remember saying that i was driving to work when we did this,like im sure Pat,Tim,Bob,Erik and Nate are all worried about my eating ability,HAHA- Have A Nice Day 🙂

    I would find it hard to believe Tim will be there. The gyro contest is te same day as the East Hartford Nathan’s Qualifier. He has won that qualifier for the past few years. If he is going, better chance for me, I hope.

    HEY ATTENTION ANY EATERS!!! – if you are for sure doing Gyro’s please let me know,cause She Wants Revenge is playing that night at the Meridian and im going to get us on the Guest list i just need to know how many people wanna go or who will be staying the night that night,thanks….for those that dont know She Wants Revenge sings Tear You Apart (an old Joy Division Song),you can go to my myspace page and look at the 7th friend on my list and go listen to them if you want,there really good live.Thanks,Have A Nice Day 🙂

    Badlands, you know that you are my main man, and it was a thrill to compete against you at Myrtle Beach, BUT….you better be walking, running, or something, if are coming back full-time…does that mean trainer of yours know?

    El Predicto Magnifico said – are you sure you dont need glasses,cause if you read the article it says i dont eat between 12-14 hours before the event….i stopped staving myself before events like my 3rd event (Rookie mistake,i know) 🙂
