A press release has a list of expected entrants for the professional eating contest that will award $1,600 ($900 to the winner) at A Taste of Hamburg-er in Hamburg, PA on September 1: Dave Brunelli, Mike Longo, Jamie McDonald, Will Millender, Joel Podelsky, Stephanie Torres.

    Mcdonald will beat them all. He crushed that 10 lb meatball sandwich, which stephanie torres was unable to do.

    I think Jamie is a bit better than Stephanie, as good as she is. If Pete were to enter the event I would put him on top.

    Jamie just beat Tom Gilbert who beats Steph all the time, If Jamie does not sign MLE I say he takes it.

    Steph was also sick the day of attempting the sub. The last time she faced Goose before Crif was Nov of last year. I’d put her and McDonald around the same level without saying who is better yet.

    I think its unfair to eaters in the two organizations that cant go back and forth. What gives this guy the ability to do both organizations? I think he should either sign with MLE or go indy/All pro. If he doesn’t, why not everyone get this chance?
