TooJay's held a corned beef contest in Palm Beach Gardens, FL on Saint Patrick's Days from 2010-2012. They will not hold a contest this year but hope to bring the contest back in 2014. If that event's trend in prize money for professionals over the past three years continues (2011: $20,000 | 2012: $10,000 | 2013 $0), then MLE eaters will need to pay $10,000 to compete in 2014.

    If $200 was payed to each eater that finished out of the money in 2011 then you know that the Sheas made $20 k on the deal or maybe more

    Toojays can save a lot by opening the contest to indie eaters instead of MLE. Offer $5,000-8,000 in prize money and they still save a shitload by not being forced to take care of the Shea brothers and some of the top eaters that want to flown in and given hotel expenses. It’s a win-win situation.

    10;44 i doubt any of the top eaters were flown out except for Chestnut. in Toojays. For some bizarre reason hometown legend Sean Wrecking ball who ate 2 sandwiches was paid an appearancce fee in 2011 & 12

    It’s my own opinion that the sequence is not important here. It’s the components of the emissions that must be considered. Involved is liquid, the pee, and gas, the fart. Which came first should not matter, as long as the two actions occur within five or so seconds of one another.
