I didn’t vote for myself (that would be vain), I voted for Hall Hunt. Not because Hall had better cumulative performances than Chip, but because Hall is a contributor to Trencherwomen/EatFeats.com and Chip really is not (atleast not by name).

Trenchy awards, it means you have to have contributed something to Trencherwomen, right? Like you need to have contributed something on-screen according to the rules governed by the Academy of Motion Pictures to be considered for an Oscar; or you need to have been on the Billboard Top 100 to be eligible for a Billboard Award; or you need to have at least been featured on ESPN to be eligible for an ESPY.

I mean that last comment as no slight to you Chip; you definitely had the best ‘Rookie’ performances as an eater.

The last thing i want is to sound selfish or vain but OJ can agree that i gave this site its initial boost last July on bits & pieces after doing some extensive web surfing on competitive eating. Noone had heard of it until i made mention of it on my site. This is not to say that it wouldnt have caught on the way it did but it might have caught on a bit later than expected. Dont i deserve some type of an award for at least making some kind of verbal contribution on the comments page day in and day out?

Contributions or lack thereof to this website should have no impact on who you vote for.

I will add a best video podcast category in which beautifulbrian.com will be represented.

This is Don Lerman I often wondered why I don’t see more posts from my fellow competitive eaters on my site.I shown support for other competitive eaters whether it was congradualting them on a victory or watching them on T. V
OR WISHING THEM WELL or going to thier movie previews OR wishing them good health when I heard that they were ill. I guess Don LERMAN doesn’t count to many people , I’m glad That i have aloyal fan base …DON lERMAN

same old same old from beautifulbrian.
“hey, guys, don’t forget about me.”
don’t add a category just for him, unless it’s most washed-up old timer.

I think there should be an award for the category of The Eater to Laud Oneself Most Quickly or Consistently. I nominate Beautiful Brian, though Don Lerman will be a serious contender also. Incidently I respect both of them. If they could only realize how they cheapen themselves when they act like that.

I enjoy cheapening myself Rufus. It gives me an orgasm. Not sure if Lerman feels the same way. Please note all this shit i do is for fun . Never thought i was anything special. Thanks for the kind words though

I have to agree with Rufus. It’s kind of like the concept of respect. You can demand it all you want. But respect can only be earned, and only on the terms of those who give it.

I was a WAF (Women in the Air Force) a few (not saying how many) years ago and there were some NCOs who were quick to exclaim, “Look what I did … where’s my medal?” Ironically, they were the very ones who, in most cases, deserved little recognition, and it certainly tarnished my opinion of them.
