Truncated MLE contests
A list of MLE contests that ran shorter than their announced duration follows. In last month’s tamale eating contest, 70 dozen tamales were requested, but only 60 dozen were provided. The first column represents the actual contest length, the second has the planned duration. (I am not sure if the two Chicago contests this year were shortened before the contest or during the competition.) update Oct 21 MLE claimed that 1000 tamales would be provided (via comment)

Actually, according to a tweet from MLE the week before the contest, the order had been upped to 1000 tamales, which is more than 80 dozen.
