Conti still sells on Amazon and other sites. Ennis has a huge resume. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wellington_Ennis Shea Brothers? What did they back?

Conti is not making any money and i will put money on that . As far as the movie it was available for free viewing for years via a link on the net but for some reason it was pulled a few yrs ago . Shea brothers used Ennis because he is free lance and didnt charge them a dime to make the movie . There might have been other expenses along the way but the end was a loss. They attempted to promote the idea to Tribeca like the Conti movie but it never worked out. It’s actually a pretty good flick with George Shea narrating . You might be able to find it somewhere if you do research . Film included rivalries Boone vs Janus Seiken vs Lipsitz Jarvis vs Sonya They used footage from previous Nathans contests and US open of competitive eating. Interviews included Seiken Koch Rich & Carlene Krazy Kevin and some other eaters

You cannot promote a movie to Tribeca. You apply and are chosen or not. It’s a big deal to get in as it gets the film out into other festivals and venues and might get picked up by a sponsor. It is still a good thing on a resume. Ennis does just fine, is a blogger and activist, does tv and film.
