Brooklyn Paper reports that competitors in Nathan's Famous hot dog eating contest will not be allowed to switch to the restaurant's new vegan frankfurters, but substitutions might be possible in 2022 if they are deemed equivalent to beef hot dogs.

    Did anyone else notice that the eatfeats Twitter account commented on the nathans tweet to chestnut about “Chinese owned nathans Smithfield vs American owned products”. There ya go, Oj or eatfeats themselves are the ones commenting constantly about the Chinese owned stuff all under anonymous accounts. Probably the ones with the negative comments on everyone a lot. It gets traffic here if you’re starting shit. Way to show your hand.

    You’re an idiot, China basher. Nathan’s is not owned by a Chinese company. They have their hot dogs MANUFACTURED by Smithfield, which is owned by a Chinese conglomerate.
    Alot of other companies have meats made by Smithfield. You’re bashing the wrong company.
