Steakbellie to do “Tough Mudder” for charity

Eric “Steakbellie” Livingston will be participating in the “Tough Mudder” 7 mile obstacle course race on May 2 (the day after he competes in the Dorney Park cheesesteak contest) to raise money for the Wounded Warrior project. He has set up a donation link for the charity on active.com.

A very worthy cause Mr. Steak! I wanted to contribute using a PayPal option, but there was none. Thus, I will be sending cash carefully packed in mud to conceal its contents.

Thanks for the kind words and money that is starting to come in for this charity. It’s a great cause, and every penny you donate goes to the charity and not to paying my registration fee. Much like Crazy Legs mixing Corn and a Marathon, I hope to mix Cheesesteaks with this endurance race for unexpected and exciting results!

That’s very, very decent of you Steak … and for a great cause. I wish you somehow would win that cheesesteak contest. Hey, it’s literally got (part of) your name on it, as if it’s meant to be!

    Rhonda,
I’m pretty sure I can win that contest if I bring a Gun to the table. Assuming that I cant get past the metal detectors I will have to worry about tussling with all my mid-ranked compadres for a ‘at least I didn’t come in last’ finish. I love sandwich foods but I’ve taken some time off. This will be a good warm up for HDB’s for the UEPA crowd!

Just like the Qualifier at Dorney last year, everyone will be required to ride ‘Steel Force’ immediately after the contest!

Awesome. Good luck in the contest and the obstacle course. Make the UEPa and the Manitoba Meatsweats proud.

    Congratulations Mr. Livingston,

Once again you have publicly demonstrated your caring, compassionate, and competitive spirit. For this you are to be commended. Thank goodness OJ has seen fit to remove any comments from anyone who would attempt to detract from such a noble endeavour. May everyone who knows and admires you (one and the same) wish you godspeed in both your eating and altruistic pursuits. If there was anyone who should prevail in this effort, it should be you. Great soul and greater heart. We are all proud to know and love you.

Hi, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you
get a lot of spam remarks? If so how do you protect against
it, any plugin or anything you can recommend? I get so much lately it’s driving me insane so any
    assistance is very much appreciated.
