I was scheduled to be there but I might’ve broken my foot yesterday, if Tim (Eater X) wasn’t going I would’ve sucked it up and went but he let me know he’d be there today so i’m sparing myself the unnecessary pain of de’foot 😉 ..Good Luck Tim! (like he needs it!)

The 4th will be extremely interesting this year. There should be at least 4 eaters over 50 HDBs. Amazing.

That contest was crazy. How often do you get to eat at the same table or go to a contest where someone eats 50 Hot dogs and buns. Great job Tim. Great job Badlands.

    And coming at you Steakbellie.

what is the point of livingston and collins competing. Bob Shoudt will blow the both of them out in allentown. What is worse is the fact that wild bill is not even considered a pro eater and he is allowed to compete .

Landrich, who’s the 4th eater over 50? If you think it’s Pat B, you’re gravely mistaken! X has a shot!!!!

We Compete To Compete. Than Why should anyone go to a contest if they can’t eat 25 plus.

If we took your crappy attitude, thee would be no need for any qualifiers. Look at Sean Gordon, he wasn’t on the radar in Boston, and quietly ate 26 and won.

So anything can happen in any given contest. Bob also competed in Gyros, his plane could possibly not make it in time tomorrow.

Steakbellie, Wing Kong, and Wild Bill are some of the great competitors in competitive eating.

Some of my favorite contests were ones when I competed next to Steakbellie. We seem to push each other to personal best all the time.

I pray to god that humble bob plane does not make it in time so he can win in atlantic city next week. This way we can save Reeves for atlanta. Please Please . Is anyone else going to atlanta or are you going to let the shredder have another easy one like duck stadium and myrtle beach.

You had to ask who the 4th eater was and then you answered it yourself? Of course, in negative anonymous fashion, you had to slam one of the great eaters. That’s why most eaters support one another against anonymous haters, its called sportsmanship. Say what you will Pat and Tim will be at, or very close to 50 HDBs, and Koby and Joey will be 60+. Of course, I hope Tim and Pat are pushing Joey and Koby and make the contest that much more interesting.

It really doesn’t matter how many you eat in a qualifier. On july 4th it will be the same as last yr Joey and Koby will take 1rst and 2nd. Sorry but it’s old news starting to get boring

Congratulations Eater X, you did something just a few guys can do, as somebody said here the 4th will be very exciting this year, imagine Kobe, Joey, Pat and Tim with over 60?
I think it would be a good idea to have like Silver League, Gold League and Platinum League. Platinum League would be the current MLE, Gold League would be for guys who are from top 11 down to top 30 and Silver League for guys from top 31 to top 50 of IFOCE members. I definitely would like to see guys from AICE competing in IFOCE events but I know all that about contracts, etc. so I know it would be hard but definitely interesting. Also I think it would be nice to have a women´s league to attract more female contestants… just ideas to improved our “sport”.

Within our league of professional eaters (MLE), their seems to be a separation of eating abilities that one could measure in HotDogs. Because it is the true “SuperBowl” of competitive eating, it is during this time that you can find your rank among the best in the world.

    Platinum: 50+
    Gold: 35-49
    Silver: 27-34
    Bronze: 22-26
    Pink: 0-21

Eay to go Tim! I believe that Tim is one of the three smartest eaters in all of CE, along with Sonya and Koby.

Koby is the eating guru that all the great eaters of today learned from—-the ultimate pioneer of speed techniques that others who followed tried to emulate.
