Good job Hall. In all honesty, I didn’t expect Sonya to repeat —- too many variables to try to account for, and it is very, very subjective. But I would never want to post that before the contest and break her confidence.
If I remember correctly, there’s been a different winner every year since 2005: Cookie, Joe, Legs, Sonya, and Hall, respectively. Corn on the cob is one of those food that’s the great equalizer. Overall —- and I must be honest, candid here —- I think Jammin’ Joe is the best at it. He’s probably the cleanest corn eater and he has the technique down to a science.

anonymous, 8:35, that might be true. I don’t know, but I do know this for sure: I would much rather “force” a smile and appear to be a good sport on the outside, even if I felt disappointed at my performance on the inside. That takes effort and at least sends a message of good sportsmanship.
