2010 Acme Oyster contest

update #2 SonyaTheBlackWidow has the top 3:

1) Sonya Thomas 37 dozen in 8 minutes
2) Amateur 21 dozen
3) Crazy Legs Conti 19 dozen

update nic511 reports that Sonya Thomas won the contest with a total of 37 dozen oysters.

The MLE oyster contest is expected to start at 3pm eastern. Members of The Deadliest Catch cast will compete in an undercard.

The New York Times has an article about the Oyster Festival, which was originally planned to start in 2006 and cancelled due to Hurricane Katrina.

    Newbies are beating Crazy Legs left and right. He should save face and consider retiring. He was great like Lerman, BB and Jarvis. 3 saw the writing on the wall. If Crazy eats much longer he may not even beat Super Paul or Hangman.

    Retire? IFOCE would fold if he ever retired which is why they will do anything to keep him happy? Wall of fame, color commentary for a future MLE chowdown, play by play for singapore television. What else can we give you?. You name it your the man
