I’m excited to see the Shredder compete. He is a great competitor.

Other than LA Beast being a competitive eater all I know about him is he seems weird, needs attention, and cusses a lot.

So what is Allen supposed to do be nice and not do the qualifier? Who in Shredder’s position would do that?

12:13 am, why the negative both ways? You would think that all of the competitive eaters are getting paid Major League salaries. Since for most it is a losing proposition financially, why not support each other and everyone instead of continuing with snide remarks and sometimes character assassination.

Beast is an up and comer and with more practice will be a force on the circuit. Who knows, maybe Goldstein will have a bad day. As we know with competition, anything can happen. Beast seems like a nice guy (although nuts) so why the put downs.

What is with these insults? They are not amusing at all. Some MLE eaters are trying to build community, Beast is a friend of many.

Shredder has got to be the favorite, but if he has an off day, or if he takes Kevin too lightly, he could be disappointed.
It’s a shame that guys can’t qualify for the finals with 25 HDBs these days—-practically a tie with the winner. I wish MLE would make an exception (or even change the rule) and allow for a second wild card.
Who knows, maybe they will. (I wish.)

A Lab is a “puppy” that needs attention. True in this case also. Manners wouldn’t hurt either
