Congrats to the MLE’s that ate in double digits. You are the true major league eaters of the sport today and nobody can ever take that away from you. Brian Subich LA Beast Brian D you showed the world that you can compete at any level and anything less than a major league level would be beneath you guys. I am proud of Brian Subich who is coming into his own and putting up impressive numbers late in his career but better late than never . As far as Crazy Legs is concerned his putrid tasting rum cake that was prob Entemans buy one get one free at Waldbaums commenorating his one year abstanance from this site and mine , because he is afraid to deal with the truth,, god bless you my friend. I had no intention of attending an after party commemorating your anniversary. If you have an issue with corn on the cob check your ears next time or throw them out before others snap photos and post them on the net Im just a news guy. I will have a full recap along with High def videos of the dorney park affair later on .

Eatarama was wearing a teashirt at cheesesteak that featured the same pic as the one in Mcall article. An unnamed eater at the event who doesnt know George and Rich very well said “Is that the dad of the guy MC the contest today”?

Pat did win by a significant margin. Maybe the results at asparagus pushed him to really go all out at his next contest. I’m curious to see how the next battle between him and Stonie shapes up.

It doesn’t matter that BB didn’t do so well in cheesesteaks. He made the 3 hour trip there, provided some quality video, refused cheap cake, and even got a toilet seat from LA Beast. That’s worth the price of admission in my book.

Isn’t it strange how OJ RIfkin plays these head games with Seiken and BB.com. Once in a blue moon he mentions Seiken uploading a documentary video on competitive eating but fails to mention that BB.com is the only site right now that has videotape footage of the MLE cheesesteak contest with introductions . It’s almost like he picks and chooses when to play his head games. On another note cannot blame Crazy Legs for staying away from this site with all the negative press he gets

Most people just look at last place. BB had a bad day compared to the rest of the field. If the winner ate 10 his performance would have been considered decent and probably in the money. And yes 939 makes a whole lotta sense

I think Wright hit it right on the nose. MLE and the Sheas welcome all races and nationalities to the sport. Obvious that black people smell a rat when it comes to competitive eating or they figure there is no money in it for them when you have Sonya Thomas Joey Chestnut Pat B and the gang gobbling up all the cash

Feeble attempts to place race relations into competitive eating is inane, and most likely stems from those same jealous APE, WLOCE, and Kobi’s Kool Aid crew that are desperately looking for any baseless idiotic claim to besmirch the best, most recognized eating organization in the world — MLE. Facts are, no other competitive eating organization has a more diverse number of eaters. In fact, I can’t even think of one APE, WLOCE or indie African-American Eater (so it’s funny you single out MLE). MLE has the top ranked African-American Eater in the World. MLE has the top ranked Korean-American eater in the world. MLE has the top ranked Chinese-American eater in the world. Let alone all the culturally different eaters that are not ranked in the top or former MLE eaters. I could go on but would prefer not to seperate out eaters for their racial differences, and rather bring them together for their mutual love of competition. Get a life you race baiting losers. There’s no place for you in competitive eating.
