update 2:49 Katelyn D reports that Tim “Janice” won with 45 hot dogs. Larell Marie appeared to be the only woman, so she is probably the female winner.

Nice work Tim! Just a walk in the park for you and Badlands. I’ve never heard of Marcos or Larell, but both good numbers. Both 18.5 and 25 are better than what I did in my first contest. I think I only ate 12 in 12 minutes for my first nathan’s qualifier in south florida back in the day.

I love this venue! Who doesnt want to eat Hot Dogs on the beach in the sun with Bikini Waitresses serving everybody beer? Yasir stated he had 25 but got deductions (dont know what his final was). I had 20.5 Larell was great and put up Pro numbers when she could have just taken it easy. Didnt get Justin Mih’s numbers. Lots of first tmers who didnt break 10.

Win or lose, A.C. was always my favorite qualifier ..maybe it was the beer and bikini babes..who knows?

Pat – lol its just such a gr8 venue. Ply the spectators w/alcohol & you’ve got one high-energy crowd! Plus both AC contests for me were personal bests at that time 🙂
