Its not that hard to eat shrimp which explains the 3rd place finish and look who Legs beat? Certainly not household names along with the 50th ranked eater in MLE. 3rd place might as well be last place

Are they nuts ? 25 degrees? What happened to indoor events. Even during the summer months Nathans contests used to be held indoors. That is just unacceptable.

That’s disappointing they didn’t use the full strength St. Elmo’s cocktail sauce. I’ve had it before and it’s brutally hot. I know it can’t be full strength because nobody in the video had any kind of reaction to it (coughing, sputtering, choking, clenching fists in pain, etc). Not saying eaters didn’t all do a good job, I’m just bummed because I was expecting this to be a pain tolerance sort of contest and obviously they weakened their sauce from how it comes in the bottle or at the restaurant.

Why don’t they hold an eating contest in the himalayas during snow season. George Shea will be practically talking to himself . If the prize money is right Chestnut would be there and Crazy Legs out of loyalty would compete in layers of clothing
