according to Randy Santel Hammer did 20. It takes practice to get that technique just right.

I saw Hanner ate 20. Remember the great Joey Chestnut at 20ish dogs when he did his first Nathans. I think we all are spoiled from what happened last season with Miki, Pablo and Jeff. Hanner is a decent eater if he seriously wants to sign with MLE he should be up around 25 range or its best just to stay Independent and win every time.

Did not know that . Usually when they post the first two finishers with totals and no total for 3rd place it means the totals were nothing to write home about but this time we were wrong 20 for the first time out is great Kyle. Keep up the great work

“Marlene Wigginton, a software engineer from Troy, Ill., bested the other women in the contest with nine and a half hot dogs.”

    2) The St. Louis Post-Dispatch in the link above also lists her name as “Marlene Wiggington” (with a “g”) in the tags at the end of the article.

Good job Kyle. You would think it takes years of practice in CE to reach 20 HDBs yet some never exceed 15.

Scott Bickel did 18 in his first Nathan’s outing. Why didn’t he get congratulations like Kyle?

If people had been positive and encouraged Scott, maybe he wouldn’t have committed suicide.
