Looks like Juan will be going up against primitive competition for an easy win.

Matt, Matt, & Andrew are constants in the world of EC. Anyone who talks smack about them should be ashamed of themselves. These guys work at it just like the rest of the top 50. They are unsung heroes and if it weren’t for their willingness to travel all across the country and face heavier odds then the top 25, there would be no contests. It would be just a sideshow and now challenge. It’s bullshit that anyone would diminish these guys work, drive and dreams. RESPECT THE SPORT. RESPECT THE EATERS!

Any one still obsessed with AG after almost 10 years getting dumped as a sort of friend must be an 11 hotdog eater.

honestly 521 are these guys gonna make any kind of real money wasting their time with this bullshit? Invest in stock market bet on sports better chance of making some money doing that instead of competing in contests that 99% of the time you wont make a dime finish out of the money. If your feelings are actually hurt when someone questions your eating ability , then man you got some real serious issues LOL

Would i care if someone calls me a shitty eater with primitive skills? I would laugh it off . Some of you need to get a life and realize that aside from a small circle of weirdos and this joke of a blog , hardly anyone with a quarter of a brain pays attention to this anymore

29 is a great number, especially with those half cooked, almost expired gross hotdogs Nathan’s uses.

@5:21 for those of us (eaters) that travel to compEAT we pretty well know that finishing in the money is a long shot but I dont think any if us have a problem making money, elsewhere. It takes money to travel to do these events and I dont ever expect a return but welcome the occasional cash prize. I use this as a release from the everyday grind. An opportunity to let loose, challenge myself, meet great people and see the country. This is not a waste of time by any means. I know, as do most exactly where I stand in CE.

Matt and Josh, first and foremost I respect both of you as eaters (and I wouldn’t consider you bad at all), however what’s preventing you from becoming better if you’re aware of (as you said) where you stand (not placing for money? Health concerns?

For me, I have no deisre to put myself through what it takes to be a “top 10” eater. I know I have been doing this for quite some time now but up until october of last year I really put no effort into it, I just show up and eat. Since October 2015 I have begun to train and study the food I am training to eat. So if you do follow CE you may notice that I am improving and will continue to push myself to improve. If you check my stats since I have signed with MLE you will see that I am getting better each time I eat and Ive also finished in the money 2 of my 3 MLE contests

Just to let you know, poker comments are not me. It’s a fun game but a rough one as well. You need a big bankroll to survive. You lose alot more than you win
