Great contest, food was good, George did a great job as always. Great group of eaters, some I had not seen in too long, it was great catching up. Where has steakbellie been though.

If you check out the database Goldstein earned $1950 competing nearly 10yrs with the IFOCE but in actuality he really earned $850 . Alka Seltzer US open everyone who got chosen for the event received $500 and he received $600 for finishing dead last in Krystal burgers but everyone got paid from 1st to last place . In the other contests where he supposedly earned his keep, he beat the worst eaters on this planet some of which we never heard of. In turkey contest $500 he beat out Conti and Edible real household names. In the Ramen noodle contest $250 he beat Conti and Steakbellie . The clam chowder contest which he took home a whopping $100 . This one tops the cake This time he beat out some real heavy hitters one of which was Gavonne brother . Dave Rose, Hayden Lynch , Iran Copelov Sounds more like some of the tomato cans Rocky Balboa defeated before he took on Clubber Lang (Mr T) in Rocky 3

Seiken, 4:11 get off the shitpot, and neither Seiken nor Goldstein have anything to do with this contest. How about we congratulate Joey and Carmen who it says in an article (do you ever read them?) are good buddies. Joey thanks Carmen for pushing him. Wing Kong, always the gentleman, writes about the comraderie of CE and MLE members. That is how it should be.

Almost forgot the value of 240lbs of Nathan’s hotdogs, $1000 in Nathan’s expense money, $2000 for the Las Vegas Spike TV event. It’s not considered too much compared to the heavy hitters but a lot better than a quarter for the parking meter.

The comraderie is among fellow eaters and has nothing to do with how MLE treats its eaters. This is one of the reasons people join MLE. And after people leave MLE to do their own thing, friendships made does not stop. Case in point, Bertoletti, Janus, Gravy, maintain strong friendships with a few MLE eaters. Same goes for MC’s and others who have worked for MLE.

Goldstein faked his pleasantness backstabbed all his friends in CE by ratting them out to the Shea’s if they finished ahead of him (and most did) and talking smack about them behind their backs . Its a wonder Jarvis stayed his friend for so long
