I am watching this Kale contest as we speak and the more i watch this Splendore guy the more i am convinced the FBTS podcast and all the bullshit associated with it is a scam. Same way everyone associated eatfeats with the Shea brothers insisting Sheas run this site, is basically the same analogy with Sheas and Splendore. This guy is a longtime friend of the Shea brothers . They are funding the podcast and instructed both clowns to initially play dumb and come off as die hard fans of the sport while making it seem as though they are clueless when it comes to competitive eating. Mike was touted and well schooled as a backup replacement MC for quite some time. This explains why all of a sudden he is a well polished Shea soundalike mannerisms, movements , stale cheap one liners etc etc . You just dont walk up on stage and improvise this shit. They are paying him 1k or more to run the show and he better be dong a good job Get my drift?

Why doesnt Conti get a drivers license for christ sake and drive out to these events I think its about time. The days of walking 600 miles to a contest or car pooling are history. This is 2017 not 1969
