Geoff Esper and Darron Breeden’s totals are relatively close. It is important for the money breakdown to not make mistakes. Perhaps that was the holdup. MLE is not known for posting results quickly. The contest was three hours ago.

Geoff and Darron were 2 pounds apart. Not too close. There’s never a good reason for delayed results.

Conti has had three books published and made short documentary films which have won awards. He has a big life outside of competitive eating and is still chosen for interviews because no one else (yet) is as good as he is. Jealous much?
