Defending champion Miki Sudo, Nick Wehry, Eric "Badlands" Booker, Yasir Salem, George Chiger and Darrien Thomas are expected to compete in the National Sweet Corn Eating Championship at the Sweet Corn Fiesta in West Palm Beach on April 28. This will be Yasir Salem's first MLE contest since 2018.
