The page says that both the men’s and women’s contests will be televised live on ESPN News and also streamed on ESPN3. This contradicts ESPN’s schedule page which says the men’s competiton will be live on ESPN2.

If they follow the rules from previous years, half the women with less than 10 won’t show up because their trip won’t be paid.

Gotta wonder if there has ever been an eater sign up for a qualifer proven to be capable of 35+ dogs who was not selected to participate in the qualifier. I would think that would be pretty frustrating, but they certainly would have cleaned up in the independents.
