The OC Register has an article about this weekend's hot dog eating contest at the Derby Deli in Mission Viejo, CA. "Furious" Pete Czerwinski and Dale Boone are expected to challenge defending champion Tom Gilbert. Derby owner Dan Lauriano says he wants to make the contest "the pure version of what Nathan's used to be like... not hokey with the drama".

    The only interesting thing about this contest is to see what Pete can do in hotdogs. I do not think anyone has any interest in Boone competing . I wish he would just go away. His league is defunct and so is he
