    I have noticed quite a drop off in competitive news coverage by CNN and other major news networks the last couple of years. I think Cookie Badlands Hardy and others who were on top then were much more intersting than the ones who are on top now. It doesnt matter that nore people are eating more today. It was more fun then and Cookie was more of a hero. Even Lerman and Boone are better received than the ones now. Where are all the contests today? Bring back yesterdays eaters and the coverage ll go up. AICE is more fun and better covered today. Soon AICE will become better known than the IFOCE. Watch and see.

    the news orgs. just thought showing a bunch of fat guys on TV claiming it was “sport” was funny.

    now that the top competitors aren’t a bunch of fat guys and it may actually prove to involve something other than being a big fatty, why whould they show that?
