    I’m not really surprised this video was launched after I had posted on yardbarker that overtime WAS NOT NECESSARY. This video only really backs up what I was pointing out in the 3 photos I had provided 🙂 .

    In my opinion Joey did win in regulation and Kobe should not have been credited with 1/2 of a Hot Dog and Bun.

    Unfortunately the head judge made the call and there is no challenge like the NFL.

    Maybe in a Mayor contest a review of the tape would be a good idea in future events.

    well, it’s more damning that Hardy was staring at it happening right in front of his eyes. It’s like last year’s reversal by Koby. they’re just not going to make him follow the rules. And, it shows that Koby has lost his integrity.

    all i’m saying is what’s the point of having a commissioner if basic rules (like DQ-ing for a reversal and deductions for eaters who try to stuff in food after time has been called) aren’t followed? Gersh’s video specifically points this out.

    Charles, I think you’re one of the greats in CE. But why is Koby not expected to follow the basic rules???

    This contest was on the Worlds stage and the rules should apply that were set.No exceptions.

    Maybe Hardy was not the final decision.Maybe it was George or Rich

    We’re singling Koby out because he should know better, and the title depends on this stuff. I think everyone (including table-enders) should follow the rules, but with someone as high profile as Koby, he should be meant to follow the rules just like anyone else. Apparently Koby thinks otherwise.

    Those are all VERY good totals, regardless of Joey’s monster number.

    Rich LeFevre continues to amaze. He represents another virtually unexploited marketing angle—-I’m talking the greatest over 50 eater on the fact of the earth, let alone over 60. His talent is in the stratosphere!

    I think the IFOCE meeds to hire Megamunch and myself to market their product. The Sheas and company are very smart entrepreneuristic guys, but, for the life of me, I don’t know why they are so tunnel-visionary, focusing only on the winner in selling their product.

    In boxing you must knock out the champ or win by a majority decision for the judges to call it in your favor . The defending champ will always get the benefit of the doubt going into the contest. Would you like to be in Hardy’s shoes in something as close as that?

    The Godfther is human, and does a hell of a job. It’s much easier armchair quarterbacking than it is being an official in the game.

    Show me mistake-free officiating in any sport or endeavor and you’ll also have walk-in access to the Good Lord’s open door policy, since you’ll be in the afterlife. This is earth.

    Kevin you’re as anti-Koby as I am for him. However, watch what happens in Singapore later this month when Koby eats food ubiquitous to his domain and heritage, versus that of ours.

    I don’t care what he eats – in Singapore or the U.S. – but when you puke in a contest, you should be DQ’d. And if you still have food in your hand at the end of the contest, you should get a deduction.

    You are blind if you don’t see this. I’m not saying Koby can’t eat. I’m just saying he’s a cheat and a terrible sportsman.

    As for Hardy, I understand the challenges, but this isn’t armchair quarterbacking. This is just ignoring a Koby’s indescretions. And it’s shameful. Plain and simple.

Rhonda unless you have the balls to show your face or we can hear you voice , then everyone will continue to believe that you ate hearing impaired hiding behind text messages

    Regardless of how you or I feel about Koby, that’s a dead half hot dog of an issue. The contest has been over for nearly 2 weeks now, and I’m on to bigger and better thing—-like the size of the–um … er … ego … of the 40-something head-turner that moved in across the street.
