    Even with the rain, the event was a lot of fun. The hosts, Jon and Anthony, did a great job organizing everything and all of the eaters put up some impressive numbers, especially Betsey’s Boy with over 3.5lb. But Pete really stole the show with his 7lbs of spinach and his first title. He’s definitely on his way to becoming a great eater.

    Maybe the Shea’s are to blame for WLOCE aka Boone for what he has become. He had no identity before he joined the IFOCE until they gave him one .By instilling that scumbag persona. not only does he have to live up to it but it will haunt him for the rest of his life.

    Thanks to Steak, US MALE, Springer, and all the calls I received yesterday. The contest and fans yesterday were great. Despite the fact we were eating outside in a tsunami in Harvard Square, the BGood people hustled to put everything together and set the stage for a good show. In all honesty, I too was surprised a bit that I had consumed 7lbs, but I knew going into it that Springer was going to be a formidable opponent, so I had no choice to push everything until the last second. It definitely hurt! Though, all in all, it was unbelievable to win in front of my home crowd back in Boston….

    Good luck today in Krystals! Can’t wait to see how this one plays out……..

    Good thing for you Pretty Boy that the Hangman could not travel that far for this contest. As everyone knows, The Hangman is the closest thing on this earth to Popeye and would have easily devoured 8-10 pounds. In addition, his good looks and charisma would have taken all the attention from you that day in front of your home crowd.

    Enjoy the title but do not think your belt is as authentic & impressive as the Hangman’s forever championship belt.

    I believe what he was saying was that he was able to consume 7 lbs. He went all out and did what he had to do apparently. If an amateur did 3.5lbs, it’s totally conceivable a pro eater of any level could double that total. Springer ate close to 5 1/2 lbs…. Stop hatin’ already!

    The more i read Boone’s rants the better suited he is to play two sinister characters on the big screen. One is Dathan the egyptian informant played by Edward G Robinson in the ten commandments or Barnaby the villainous landlord that threw mother peep into the street for being late in paying the mortgage on the shoe
