Nela Zisser appeared on The Morning Rumble podcast. She says she has put video production on hiatus due to working full time as a psychiatrist. She also called dunking hot dogs in water at Nathan's Famous hot dog eating contest disgusting.

Bulemia’s poster child supposedly was an MD. She should self help as a psychiatrist.

the truth hurts. 4:45 am commenter was right/ If you though Ziss was keeping all that food down over the years, you are sadly mistaken.

She’s not in the minority though. 99%+ of the top eaters aren’t keeping their meals down.

I’ve never seen Nela Zisser compete in any MLE competitions. Is James Webb the only one with money in the southern hemisphere to travel around the globe doing eating competitions??

Why is anyone surprised when competitive eaters don’t digest the meal? Even if they don’t puke, it passes through their guts and explodes out undigested on the other end very soon. If you want to see people eat normally, or healthily,, there’s plenty of channels for that. But this is competitive eating where people are intentionally maxing out their stomach capacity far more than their bodies will ever digest, and many people enjoy watching them do it.

3:08 – The problem is the mental and eating disorders many eaters have. Anorexia, Bulimia, etc. are not something to just say “it’s ok.”

3:08 pm— it defintely does not “pass through undigested and explode out the back” if they don’t puke. It digests similarly to a normal sized meal, just much slower, and perhaps slightly lower percentage of calories would be absorbed. But the main reason eaters puke is to avoid the calories. Most of us could deal with the discomfort.
