The field for the 2026 Nathan’s Famous finals has been announced. There are no international byes other than competitors who have competed in a MLE contest in 2026. Crazy Legs Conti received a wild card spot despite a 6th place finish in his qualifier. His qualifier total of 10 hot dogs might be an all time low for a male finalist. Katie Prettyman received a spot despite not competing in a contest since Nathan’s 2025.

Top 5 from 2025 were automatically in. Prettyman finished 5th so didnt need to qualify.

i dont understand what conti motive is for getting a spot in the finals He cant eat for shit He makes an idiot of himself during the intros with those retarded knee liifts He will finish dead last as always and he has an alcohol problem His buddy dick shea has been looking oui for him for years Not to mention that his breath smells like shit comparable to that morning breath stink Np wonder why his gf dumped him The only reason ii can think of is the after party at that dive that resemles a homeless shelter in the hope that he can get one of the female eaters drunk enough so they can give him a blow job

If memory serves correct i dont remember anyone recieve a wild card spot with that low total with the exception of a dentist who won his qulifier outright with a toyal of 10,5 in 1997 and porn star jerry butler who ate 9 hotdogs to finish first in nathans finals in 1980

In his qualifier, Conti finished behind three people who did not make the finals, so presumably he got a “legends” berth.

to that retired shithead with cheap hair plugs rhat won’t let go about Brian Siken eating 11 hotdogs if you look at his stats he avg 12 and 13 dogs in a qualifier He ate 11 in a Brooklyn qualifier in 2012 and a personal best 17 in 2014 It was that fat wild bill who instigated that 11 tag when he decided to nominate himself as the official stat man for all mle events Meanwhile in that same 2012 qualifier he ate 13.5 wow

each and every male on this list deservr to be in the finals except for Conti Do you know how many eaters in the past that got screwed over by conti cheating while MLE looked the other way? Go ask Jammin Joe Larue in that Escondido qualifier some years back As far as females Sudo, Lesco , Domenique the rest are total garbage cant eat their way out of a paper bag

The Joe Larue screw over was in a Florida qualifier not Escondido. BS wrote a review with a humorous headline for that contest.

MLE employed a “points system” that awarded eaters points for competing in other contests this year. Conti must have earned enough ”points” to qualify

jammin joe was one of MLE greatest eaters Conti never held a candle to him After that sunrise fiasco Joe won the corn title a few weeks after In 2007 Conti beat Larue in another questionable corn debris decision in 2008 he finished ahead of conti in corn almost beat sonya finishing 2nd In 2009 joe finished ahead of conti in corn but lost to hall hunt In 2010 he beat conti in corn for 1st set a record at the time 46ears In 2010 he lost a nathans qualifier by one dog losing to gravy Brown After that he was done with MLE and compted independent till 2018 then hung it up for good
