    Had the great eater, reporter, radio and television personality, and color commentator Brian Seiken been there instead of Crazy Legs we would be seeing Seiken on Coney island this year.

    I always love the comments that suggest Crazy Legs was given one qualifier or another. Was Biloxi not open to everyone? Screw you. CLC finds a good table, then dishes out his own cash to get there. NOBODY ELSE SIGNED UP. He ate TWENTY FIVE HOTDOGS. You can only bitch if you are one of the 10 that can do that!!!!

    Juris Shibayama won the last gulf coast qualifier with 28 HDB in New Orleans. I wonder if he attempted to sign up for Biloxi.

    I doubt well see the Dr. again. He was another real man. Like U.S. Male Joe Larue, amd the greatest eater ever Ed Cookie Jarvis. They are real men who dont get beat by girls. When they lose to women its only out of pity and I dont hold that against them because girls are human too and need a lift sometimes.

    Any negative posts pertaining to Crazy Legs victory in Biloxi should be handled with caution because Beautiful Brian usually gets blamed for it by a concerned mom going under an assumed or anonymous identity

    Heads up anonymouses. I do not post under any assumed names, particularly not Rhonda Evans with whom I often disagree, though not in my cheering on Sonya, for sure. Since as far as I know Legs has only one Mom, I am breaking my silence, so to speak, in response to anony 10:19 am.

    First, I do not cheer on Legs on this site nor respond to comments about him, negative or positive, anonymously or under Crazy Legs Mom. There is no need. I gave birth to him, he tolerates my loopiness, and when he can be found at home, I get to speak with him directly. I also very much enjoy the time I get to spend with him up close and personal. I do have fun posting on eatfeats sometimes and congratulating other eaters.

    Legs is a big boy and can take care of himself and doesn’t need a stage Mother. I love Mah Boy unconditionally and do not enjoy reading about him getting slammed for whatever as would any Mother, but I have never blamed BB or anyone in particular for comments about Legs, nor tried to figure out who is posting negative comments. It is a waste of negative energy. To quote another of my favorite eaters and a fine person……..Nuff said.

    Is anyone except the IFOCE really reaping benefits from competitive eating? Isn’t it sort of like someone who takes insurance policies out on chronic alcoholics, feeds them all the alcohol they want and then cash in when they die? I think I’d rather have my health and live a long time, instead of having a young corpse. I doubt half the so called greatest eaters today will see 50. What a price to pay for glory.

    anony 5:45 pm makes a brilliant statement. These so called greatest eaters were born during Ronald Reagans last term in office. Figure it out. They are like brand new automobiles. The wear and tear and defects wont show until 2025 or possibly 2035. As for the present eaters pushing 40+ with excessive rolls of fat around the midsection, stop fooling yourself ok? Have fun while it lasts. You will be paying the price alot sooner than you think. Doesn’t matter how squeaky clean your cholestorol is .
