Joey and Koby should demand 100,000 each or not show up for the nathans final. nathans is about the money so why shouldn’t the eaters be????! I say rob nathans blind. Force them to pay big appearance fees or else. The only ones who would show up would be crazy legs and eater x. They would lay down their lives for nathans famous.

Kobyashi is always at a disadvantage when he eats. He has to eat foreign food in a foreign land. He kicked Chestnutt’s ass using Chestnutt’s food in Chestnutt’s home state. Congratulations to Kobayashi. Chestnutt go suck your thumb you big baby.

    Chicken isn’t his specialty either.

Kobayashi you are the man! Actually, it was very close, and Joey deserves all the credit in the world.

It will be one interesting July 4th. Again, the main storyline will be Koby versus Joey. When it comes to HDBs, no one else on the planet is in their league.

I still say there should be two contests on July 4th. A preliminary event with all the other eaters and the finale between the two champs. The focus is on only those two eaters, and a preliminary event will draw interest in at least a few of the rest of the eaters, especially Eater X and Pat Bertoletti.

Two contests on July 4th would be interesting. It’ll help fill out the broadcast a bit. Agree that this isn’t the best food item for a contest though. Small numbers and no frame of reference (what’s a P’Zone? How big is it?). Obviously though, Pizza Hut dangled an enticing offer in front of the IFOCEMLE and they took it…and who can blame them?

Does anybody else think that this will end up being Koby’s “qualifier” for July 4?
