Conti really showed his true colors by not showing up. They even mentioned his name when he wasnt even there. I am surprised that George did not point out CLC image on the wall of fame while the woman was singing the national anthem. “Do you see this man pictured on the mural? He is a legend do you hear me fan ? A legend ! “

If by some remote chance Conti leaves the IFOCE let me be the first to put in my vote to erase his image from the wall and replace it with Beautiful Brian Seiken

Wells ate 23 hot dogs and finished in 12th place. Before the competition, he said he had hoped to down 30 hot dogs. Wells said neither the estimated 40,000 fans in attendance, the 90-degree temperatures, nor tough competitors were factors in his performance.

“For the last two days, I have battling a head cold and a fever,” Wells said. “I’m grateful I didn’t pass out.”…………….

I talked to Damon shortly after the contest, apparently he came down with a cold and was suffering from mild Flu like symptoms all weekend, he said at one point he felt dizzy on stage and his main concern really was to not pass out. You gotta give his heart and determination a little credit to go on with the show in that condition.

I feel bad for him because I know how hard he trained and how determined he was to put up a better number. He told me while 23 isn’t his best performance it was the hardest contest he’s ever had to endure and is proud he even did that and said he was most proud of his friends Adrian (and mentor), Matt and (i forget the third person) for setting personal bests… Talk about a guy who is all Class.

Let us just say here that I smell Seiken stirring up trouble. If Subich’s name is attached to anything, it is usually Seiken pushing for trouble and Subich is his sidekick or vice-versa. Not unhumble Bob could well be the quiet torpedo, he is the only one who seems to support Seiken’s blog and website. Let’s stay positive. Congratulations to Damon Wells, you can stand tall, you made it to Coney and will surely get there again. Forget the haters and just keep going in MLE and most of all enjoy yourself.
