Are you sure that’s a qualifier and not just a competition?

Oh, I see: “7/4/08 berth.” Weird!

I always looked at this specific contest made to order for a selfish opportunistic individual looking to get a head start on everyone else so they dont have to compete in May or June of next year. Expect one of the big names to come down and screw it up for the little guy .

I’ll take Speedy Eater by a nose, with Just Missed second, and WildCard third. Ketchup didn’t-and will finish last.

Umm…okay. Way to get the marketing of the ’08 event underway early…and then wait EIGHT MONTHS until the next event.

20 HDBs, here I come. Assuming I get in. IFOCE’s website still has the “register” link for this contest.

Good luck Mike! I hope you get in and kick some butt!

The register link is still open and I haven’t heard anything, so it looks like its a no go. IFOCE will remain a bush league with this lack of organization. Its too bad, I looked forward to this contest.

How far away is the event from you? You could just show up and see if there is an open slot at the table. It’s probably too late now, but you could try calling IFOCE on the phone to ask about it in the morning.

Anyone know if this event happened?

Steak, I heard that you won, and Boone came in second, followed by Little Arlene.

I heard that Steakbellie was not there, but did somehow win, Boone was actually at a dog racing track, the DVD was actually a VHS illegal copy, and that Little Arlene was in a maiden race.
This information must be true, I heard someone possibly saw it came from Anonymous – our number one source for misinformation, mistaken identity, wild rumors, and false identification. Oh yes, and I wasn’t there…again.

Wait Paul, did it come from Anonymous, or anonimus? Because I have it on good authority that the latter is actually Brian seiken, whom we all know is the BEST source for everything CE.

Got an update: Steak actually ate 20, but was deducted 22 for debris and not separating the hot dog from the bun.

Steak ate NEGATIVE two HDBs? That’s awesome! He owes THEM hot dogs.
