Backstage.com “Woman vs Food” casting call
Backstage.com has posted a casting call for a “Woman vs. Food” (age 26-45) network television show. The role has the following description:
We are looking for a food-loving comedian to host a major network show, specifically someone who has a passion for food and can eat LARGE quantities of it! We want a lady who can keep up with the boys when it comes to consuming large quantities of food. The whole burger, plus seconds. An adventurous eater not afraid to try new and exciting foods. Cannot have food allergies. Bonus if this person has a background in food, whether that be in the industry (server/bartender/ hostess/cook) or simply, someone who knows their way around a kitchen!”

This isn’t really made for any “elite†female eaters. They need someone that might fail restaurant challenges to make it exciting. This is for an actress with a “big†appetite or a middle of the road female eater (15-20 hot dog range maybe) that is good with people and hasn’t ruined her reputation with cheating on challenges

I agree (somewhat) with 6:31pm. It’s not about how much she can eat, it’s more about being attractive & funny, which sadly, no American female eaters are. Dressing up in corny costumes or eating your own weight is not going to impress any casting director. I think they’re looking for a Kate Ovens type, although I don’t know if she can be funny.

Sudo is attractive and can be funny but won’t fail any challenges, same with Schuyler so that takes them both out. A katina or bowers or somebody like that may be a good fit unless sudo or Schuyler wanna take a dive on some 8lb challenges.
