    Is this kid gonna try his hand with the IFOCE anytime soon or is he gonna stay on the indy scene and claim to be as good as IFOCE’s top 5 forever?

    not a knock, just asking.

    Since being a member of the IFOCE is increasingly viewed as a negative why would he? Sure if you want to get cheated out of prize money join MLE. Anyone with any ability can make more money as a indy unless you are the chosen few that they will fix contest in your favor of MLE is just using you

    NW,

    I agree with you 100%. I think Dahl should stay on the indy scene based on his current talent level, he’s comparable to Stephanie Torres who is around the 10-15ish range based on her 3 IFOCE events. If Dahl is looking at competiting strickly for money then his best bet is to stay where he is and there is nothing wrong with that at all, actually I commend him for knowing where his bread is buttered. BUT he can’t continue to stay the indy route, beat up on locals (like in this event) and continue to claim he can compete with the freaks that are the top 5 (actually top 6) of the IFOCE… That’s all I’m saying. If I were him, I’d stay right where I’m at, but since I’m not him, I was just wondering if he’s ever gonna try to compete in a MLE event, That all.

    People who have had a lot of success in AICE/APE contests have generally not been allowed to compete in IFOCE events: Furious Pete, Tom Gilbert, Joe Menchetti

    He never said he was “as good as” His quote was taken and twisted then it goes round and round with the morons here and it ends up with him saying he could beat Joey with one hand tied behind his back, blindfolded and asleep. Give the kid a break he’s doing what he wants, when he wants, where he wants, with who he wants(except mle).

    in response to OJ’s comment, I think MLE knew Pete would never honor theis contract, thus they never gave him a shot. GJoe left MLE to do others, not the other way around as I understand it and Goose was given the oppurtunity to sign a contract with MLE but declined, thus was not able to compete, again that’s how I understand it…

    @What?!?!?!

    I’m not knocking the kid, I was only asking if he had plans on giving MLE a go. If he was miss-qouted or not, I don’t care. I’m, after all JUST WONDERING!

    For me it seems the choice comes down to this, be the MVP on the Junior Varisty squad, or be a benchwarmer on the Varisty team. From people and atheletes I know, although giving up the “top spot” for less fruitful spot isnt glamorous, most people who have passion for the sport they partake in make the move for the legitimacy and competition. To me, unless Eric is making leaps and bounds in the Indy world (like Furious Pete), I look at it as just a petty way of keeping the spotlight.

    just IMO
