Rich did a great job downing the dogs and I just sucked..I mean it was like I was at a picknick.I saw a video of me eating and it was like I was in another time zone.I couldnt eat any slower. There is a colum in eat feats that tells you the 5 things that make you a bad eater.. well I did them all achhhhhhhhhhhh.
Ron what does it matter. Your airfare is covered for Coney because you are the house photographer. Then afterwards free hotdogs and fries back stage. How could you lose ?
I wouldn’t get so down on yourself Ron. . .21 is still a fantastic number. Maybe you have more of a slow/steady approach, but it still seems to get the job done because 21 is nothing to sneeze at! I’ve seen plenty of eaters who appear to be eating fast, making a big mess and flinging stuff everywhere, but only eating in the teens or something. Are you going to be doing more qualifiers this year?
Thanks Kevin, but I still ate slow,I didnt practice and my hand mouth coordination was so slow..echhhhhhhhhhhhh
Im done until I get my hand working faster and start leaning into my food…Hope you all do good in Coney..
Erm. . .well, I would like to get mid 20s as that would be a significant improvement over last year. . .but hot dogs is not exactly my forte, so who knows what will happen. If I suck it up, so be it. But I’ll give it a go at at least one qualifier.
Yeah, I will be in San Fran. I should have done more research before I registered, but I signed up for Tempe and Colorado. Both are obviously taken by eaters much better than me at eating hot dogs. . .but depending on my schedule, cost of travel, etc. . .I may show up to one or both anyway even though the odds are well in favor of getting my ass kicked. At the very least it’ll be good practice. You just can’t get the same effect by practicing at home as you can at a real contest.
I agree anonymous 9:26. . .that’s why I’m driving if I go to Tempe and san fran 🙂
I think nasty nate might be going to SF if he doesn’t qualify elsewhere. . .other than that, not really sure. . .hopefully not someone in the top 10! I at least want to have a chance.

Kev,
Where’s 007 headed this year? Should we expect a number of 20 something? …24+?

It’s ssssooooooooooexpensive t fly to these qualifiers. It can cost a lot to “practice”. One is enough for most
