In any open competition you would qualify. Besides don’t you have to be from boston? I been doing as much wing eating as possible in preparation for the wing bowl in my locality. I even took a spicy wing challenge. Buffalo wild wings has a blazing wing challenge. Since my purpose for eating wings is simply to increase speed, i completed the challenge of a dozen of their hottest in 1:13. Roughly 6 seconds per wing. I planned on just ordering 30 wings and time myself but what the hell, a challenge is more exciting. On my way home tonight i stopped and just ate wings at 2 in the morning. I will probably eat wings right up the the super bowl.

lol i heed caution with that,
you dont wanna get to the competition and be extremely tired of wings, they wont go down as fast lol

yup you are correct. i got tired of wings a little bit and it does make it harder to get down. i will wait until the main event to eat any more wings. i am a complete nobody but to dethrown the remaining champ of my local wing bowl would be a big accomplishment for me. similar to when you retry a challenge that you already did before, sometimes the second time is far harder, your advice is heeded. my technique is decent, i need to work on just getting stuff down my throat a little bit faster. that can be done with other foods. after about 15 wings i find myself stuffing them all in and chewing and then repeating the process and it is slowing me down. my stomach just doesn’t want to accept the food that fast. i will work with other foods, thanks Mega Toad.

it actually took a little overtime as i finished tied with another competitor in qualifying, the OT was pretty easy for me, never ate so fast in my life. Had a few lagers afterwards and it was a good time. Looking forward to my first amatuer event. lots of good amatuer eaters putting up pretty good numbers with relatively hard to eat wings.
