Buffets of the subcontinent are safe (for now)
(From slashfood.com) Dale Boone was apparently not exaggerating when he described the great competitive eaters of South Asia. This article in the Hindustan Time tells about the gastronomic exploits of a man known as “Theeta” of Thrissur, India, who once ate 10kg of halwa in 10 minutes. The police have been called several times to evict “Theeta” from a buffet. Doctors have forced “Theeta” to curtail his eating following a hospitalization, so restaurants are now free to restart their all you can eat specials.

theres a resturant in N.J. called Big Ed’S Ribs , allthe ribs you can eat for around $I5. they keep bringing out the ribs without you asking . in 2001 myself , krazy kevin . badlands booker russel machover ( MATZA BALL CHAMP 1999) oleg zhniysky and belly donna ( WING BOWL and glutton bowl ) All went there and did major damage
i suggest that the new eaters go there. myself , krazy kevin lipsitz and beautiful brain will have a contest with all of yous and youl see whose the best eater, the veterans or the rookies

Don that sounds like a great place to eat. But the eaters today are simply better today than in the past. It is that way in all sports if you think abut it. No shame on you or anyone else. Times change.

You wannabe’s just can’t hang. Go ahead and use steroids if you think that is what makes a champion but the true champions know it won’t make a difference and in the end everyone gets caught (see Floyd Landis). Those who have made a difference in competitive eating have done it by working hard and finding internal strength, not by cheating.
You oldtimers were using rudimentary mehods of training and relying on your impressive natural talents. Maybe you guys just need to lose a nut or two and it will motivate you to show the world what you are mde of.

There needs to be an over 40 league AND an over 50 league. But no one would catch The Locust if that were the case. I’ll say it again. There’s still worlds of talent in MOSES, but he’ll need to drop a lot of weight to find it — the ol’ Belt of Fat Theory lives!

The new eaters being better is bullshit. You know with getting totals over 30 some a good bit over 30. While the old timers whooped them with those impressive showings of 15, 12.5, etc… I’m not trying to disrespect, but face the facts. If you want a rib contest go to the two left this summer and make a showing where we’ll hear the results.
