Remember, guys: they should PAY you for this. A quick day in LA and a meal allowance is not enough. If you accept that, you bring us all down bc you’re providing cheap labor.

9:29 am has excellent advice. That is absolutely true. In search of so called fame, many people give away their talents. They absolutely should pay you and likely they will. There are rules though about what is what, you need to know those too. An extra gets paid according to strict guidelines. Before jumping, you should do some research. Google High Noon Entertainment, is this a proposed show or a real one which already exists. Many people have been burned and some have gotten opportunities leading to other things. Do your homework because you time should be valuable to you, you should respect it and yourself first. If you are MLE who arranges appearances, you have to go through them. Many people in MLE complain about this but it’s a give and take. They make opportunities for others and you will not get paid likely (not knowing for sure). But you will be protected with an EMT and you have choices. If you choose MLE and have complaints, try to work it out with them. Everyone makes choices, and many might be MLE but then leave. It isn’t a real sport with enforced rules and a salary. Everyone has choices.

The problem with this is that after all these years very few speak up. Even with MLE and the eaters that have appeared on countless TV newscasts . Nobody got paid. Once in a blue moon lunch money was thrown their way but thats about it. Everyone seemed to accept the fact that it’s free publicity and thats good enough for them. Anytime you are asked to put your face in the camera you should get compensated for those efforts

They told me they would fly me to L.A, i did a Skype interview after buying stuff to show them i was for real, to jave the casting guy tell me i they were casting it locally and i would be expected to drive 800 miles. Watch out these fools are shady.

First off who the hell gives you the right to do interviews with casting calls that are not associated with MLE? I hope they throw your weak eating ass out of the organization. You be better off with WLOCE Perfect fit

I’ve been on both sides of the fence. as a former MLE eater they’ve gotten me gigs/news interviews where they would give me gas money or work something out for an apperance fee. That usually ranged for $50-$100 for my time and gas. There were plenty of other times were I never recieved a dime. So it’s hard for me to hear 929 make it sound like MLE is looking out for it’s eaters, BULL SHIT, MLE is looking out for MLE! because they’ve also vetoed a lot of other oppurtunities that came up because MLE wasn’t getting paid and or the producers wouldn’t abide by MLE’s rules, such as wearing the MLE logo etc…

Have been Indy for awhile now I can do whatever I want, sometimes I get paid sometimes I don’t… If I don’t feel like doing it or don’t think it’s something fun, then I just decline. When I declined with MLE they almost made me feel like I was letting them down…

Btw, I’ve spoken with HNE about being on the show, they asked if I knew any eaters that might be interested, when i gave a few names they replied “now non of these are MLE right” my reply was “let me guess, you’ve already spoken to MLE and they want money right”, BINGO! So I doubt any MLE eaters will ever be on this show.

High Noon has talked with both MLE and APE. You can ask them yourself. They are now doing a casting call because they want free/cheap labor. If your not getting paid for this your selling yourself out big time. This is a production company working with a very well off brand on a very well off channel. They are ALL getting paid. You should too and it should be more than a couple hundred bucks and a free meal.

Been approached multiple times with these guys. Passed it by MLE. No go. MLE wants no part of it
