    WFFT should do an article on Eli Lessig and all the “charity” he contributes to. I wish Eli would post more of all the “random” kindness he does. Newsflash, if you post all the stuff you do for charity for likes and views, it’s not charity, it’s egocentric behavior. Have a blessed week.

    4:34 – you’re a douchebag. I guarantee you would be on his ass if he kept the money/prize. But since he doesn’t you’re mad about that too. Get a life. Newsflash, he posted about the restaurant and it got a lot of likes and shares. I wish I lived closer because I would support that place too. The problem with people like you is that you follow everyone and hate that they’re doing something good. Spend your time doing something worth a damn and quit complaining.

    Cherish 1/2lb Brown is a legend! It just shows how stooopid the MLE people are. But, that is already been evident by the complete lack of growth from what competitive eating is today.

    @1027, you’re absolutely wrong. Eli is known for filming his “charity”. Real charity is like integrity, doing what is right when no one is looking. Something Eli doesn’t have. There’s absolutely zero reason to state you donated a prize, gift card, etc on camera. That is unless you’re an egotistical narcissist. Eli has also been known to enter amateur contests, another non-ethical move.

    7:41 – I have a question for you regarding the amateur contests… Maybe not in regards to Eli, but there have been tons of other competitive eaters that have been bashed on here because they suck, can’t hang with big dogs, etc…. but then also get bashed for entering amateur contests. Where are these eaters supposed to complete exactly if they suck and aren’t good enough to be pro, but are too good to complete against amateurs?

    7:41 – Its filmed because he made a video. The dude literally is doing good things and you have a problem with it. You just have something out for the guy. Not long ago Randy was here defending him about how all the restaurants he has been to said it was a great experience unlike other eaters. If you don’t like the guy, fine but I think this is a petty reason.

    11:23 – They are a pro. Being at the pro level is an accomplishment in itself. Hanging with the big dogs is literally BEST IN THE WORLD! And, just a few can get to that level. You compete as a pro, period. You don’t go to all the local yocal contests with Billy Bob and Mary Sue and dominate with no integrity. Beating some local yocal? What does that accomplish except make you look like a spineless weak bafoon who is out for the prizes.
