Chip Simpson offered advice over the phone to an Orlando columnist competing in a single hot dog eating contest for local celebrities.

    Are you kidding me??? Chip a top 4 eater. Chip has not shown any sort of talent whatsoever if you ask me. He has won a few contests that no one has shown up to and that is all. He has yet to defeat Joey Chesnut. Every time he faces him he gets destroyed. Luther you are an ignorant fool for making such statements!!!

    (Butch) Chip ate 38 hot dogs in a qualifier. Only two eaters in the world have eaten more. Hot dogs are a pretty good indicator of talent.

    Wow!!! Chip had one good day out of how many contests last year. Congratulations. Maybe he will be the one to take down Kobe. Lets start praising Chip… lets face it Chip is a decent eater at best. Hot dogs are not a good indicator of talent. All around success is the only talent indicator.

    You people are bunch of cowards. The man (Chip ) doesnt come on here very often. He is quiet . He never brags and does his talking at the table. Eating! I hope one day he has a change of character and tells all you suckers where to go.

    Chip has beaten virtually every ranked eater. Chip has massive skill and talent.
