Cookie Jarvis’ jacket to be retired

IFOCE announces that Cookie Jarvis’ embroidered jacket listing his eating titles will be retired on July 4 in a ceremony before the Nathan’s finals.

    Retired Jacket? Would Jarvis bother showing if someone else’s jacket was retired?

    this is don lerman ,yes he would ,without blinking aneye, ed always showed an inteset inthe welfare of other eaters and made it a point to speak up for them…donlerman

    Personally, I think Cookie is a big baby. But competitive eating would not be where it is today without Cookie. Big baby or not the sport owes him quite a bit. I actually believe that if Cookie lost about 100 pounds he could come back and be an even greater eater than before. There really seems to be something to that belt of fat theory.
