The MLE facebook announces that Crazy Legs Conti, Adrian Morgan and Nate Biller are expected to compete in the crawfish eating contest at the French Quarter Festival in New Orleans a week from tomorrow. According to the eatfeats database, this will be the first meeting for Conti & Morgan since the controversial Nathan's qualifier in Escondido, CA.

    So is Sonya not going to be there this year? Sounds like a great day of fun. Wonder if there will be a drinking contest that day also?

    Sonya’s going to be there. In fact, April’s going to be hell of a month for her, with Jalapenos, wings and oysters coming up. The Wingstop contest should be epic. If I’m not mistaken, I think she’s the last one to have beaten Joey.

    Sonya will be a force to be reckoned with in jalapenos and wings. She is the only person in the world who poses a grave/serious threat to Pat in jalapenos (she’s a flame thrower!), and Joey in wings, respectively.

    As far as oysters and crawfish … her demon hand speed will be unrelenting. Legs has an excellent chance to be in the money in crawfish, and possibly oysters. He has fast hands too! (I mean that sincerely.)

    I don’t think she’s ever lost in the Big Easy. And that’s saying something considering the span of her career. It’s kind of developed into a home field advantage, due to the town’s strong relationship with sea food her best food group. It appears with the types of food contested there that there are some eaters who show up everywhere that are now just ceding these contests to her. But with both oysters and bugs I know she wants another record — her numbers in both are crazy.

    Lucky for her us male Goldstein was not accepted into the Crawfish event because he was seeking to regain the title. What a shame the Sheas don’t want the best crawfish eaters there going head to head.

    Whenever i see MLE facebook mention oh rumor has it two more secret events in the works including a qualifier im like man that is so lame. As soon as someting like that is posted you know that the next post is the actual secret contest thats rummaging through the rumor mill. Stupid
