An upcoming episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is casting for competitors for a hot dog eating contest for a shoot in the Los Angeles area on February 22.

    Cost a lot of money. They bill you for the whole year upfront. So you’re out $200-ish before they’ve even seen your photos.

    4. Nathan’s Famous– In 1916 Nathan Handwerker left his job at Feltman’s Restaurant in Coney Island to sell a garlicky version of Charles Feltman’s original 10c hot dog invention. The cheaper 5c hot dogs sold by Nathan’s stand were initially made by a mass producing company called Swift before using Hygrade Food hot dogs for decades (now known as Ball Park Franks). Nathan’s Famous has really extended it’s reach thanks to a licensing deal with the Chinese owned Smithfield/John Morrell. The WH Group (formally Shanghui International) based in Luohe, Henan, China through Smithfield now manufactures, markets and sells Nathan’s Famous branded hot dogs.

    I heard there will be a group this year at the Nathan’s finals educating everyone Chinese Smithfield produces Nathan’s. Why is Nathan’s promoting Fourth of July independence. Why don’t you change companies Nathan’s?

    Nathan’s Chinese 🌭 hot dogs. Wow what a USA slap in the face. Grow up Nathan’s!!! This will not sit well with America. Your company should do the right thing. Was this contract done by Hunter Biden? I will never eat a Nathan’s Hot dog again and my wish is that Joey opens a american Hot dog company. China is our enemy and Nathans should be ashamed of themselves
