Of course he won . He had everyone of those amateur jokes screened before the contest to make sure there were no threats to his joke of a victory

What a poor person dale boone is for coming on here and claiming he is the best in the world when he will never compete against real talent

Boone competes 175 contests a year to Koby’s 3 or 4 real contest. If koby travel year around all bets off he lose more than once. Noone does as many as Boone .

I told you guys so. Once, you start handing out “world records” for less than stellar performances in crappy run contests, you start to demean competitive eating and the eaters with true, outstanding talent. Stephanie’s claim of 3.25 lbs of cheese fries in eight minutes as a world record, now Boone Sabarro’s record eating a tortilla with cheese and tomate puree on it against a bunch of people who probably never ate pizza in their lives. If the indies want to keep any credibility, they need to be a little more mindful of the damage they are doing to competitive eating’s credibility as a whole and their own reputations in the long run. Before you know it, the indies may be actually become the one’s who self destructively destroy any interest in indie contests, and actually strengthen greater interest in MLE events for having any semblence of credibility.

it’s really funny . the only people who give a rats ass about ” records” in competitive eating are competitive eaters. Normal people look at this stuff and see it as revolting , a waste of food which could be better used to feed the hungry.

I Hate Everyone — Very appropriate moniker, so I expect your comments to be negative. However, for someone who seems to be so anti-competitive eating, you sure have desire to comment on a competitive eating website on a daily basis on almost every single subject. Your broad-based sweeping assessment of competitive eating and “normal people” is naive and inaccurate. Yes, there are those who see no socail value in competitive eating, and see it as a waste of food. Yet, a growing number of people, as demonstrated by viewership growth on ESPN every Fourth of July for example, demonstrates that there is a clear public fascination and interest in competitive eating. Let me explain to you who, besides competitive eaters care about accurate and sometimes incredible records when it comes to competitive eating. Reporters assigned to covering competitive eating and sponsors paying for the contests. A record, an accurate record, a truly mind boggling record, adds cachet to an eater and establishes the eater has a desired comodity for sponsors to have attend their contests and bring greater media coverage. As with any sport, the best athlete, with the most records, gets the best coverage and the most money. That’s why records matter.

The only ones who are interested in CE are those who profit from it (I have and hope to again in the future) the rest see it as a side show or similar to WWE, its entertainment. A certain percent of the records are pure bullshit. I’m not always negative but people like boon and psyiecken just make me want to scream. Basically I just vent here, anyhow hope your well have a day now.

Furious Pete did an 18″ Pizza in 1:54 was not is a sanction contest .Records are not for people who claim on video they did something. Records must be done in sanction contests. Since pete does not belong to a League hence he cannot do any sanction contests. Hence his records are not legit.
