What is pointless is that Seiken spent $1000 to fly 2000 miles to eat 18 tamales.

A 11:21, even if that were true, which BB has attested is not, why would you want to kick a man when he’s down? One thousand bucks is a lot of money and having to spend that with nothing in return would be hurtful enough.
Also, what we see on the surface is not the whole story. Some folks might have already planned a vacation in a given area, and working a contest in while there would not only be fun, but smart.

Rhonda its damn if i do and damn if i dont . If i didnt show up for the contest i would be labeled cheap. If i show up im an idiot for spending a load of cash to eat 18.5 tamales so basically you cant win with a hater. Never said MLE covered my tab. Could have been another source. Knock yourself out trying to figure who the good samaritan was. Until then i’ll get a big laugh out of it

Sorry Brian, didn’t mean to rattle your cage. As long as you enjoyed yourself, that’s what counts. At least it won’t be too far of a trip when you place 12th in chili.
PS – The cowboy hat is a good look for you.
